Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Gara: Page 2, line 1: Delete "total" Insert "portion of the" Page 2, line 2, following "collectively": Insert "that is attributable to the amount of the judgment for punitive damages" 2004-04-29 House Journal Page 3625 Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Anderson objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 468(JUD) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. Objection was heard. CSHB 468(JUD) will advance to third reading on tomorrow's calendar.
